Yvonne lives in Exeter and is a Devon County Councillor for Alphington & Cowick . She qualified as a solicitor and worked in a law centre, local government and the private sector before setting up a consultancy to provide services and training to local authorities and housing associations. She is the coordinator for Fawcett Devon a local branch of the esteemed Gender Equality gr
oup the Fawcett Society. From 2013 to 2017 she was the independent representative of the Devon and Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Police and Crime Panel and from 2011- 2014 a founder Trustee of the Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Services . She has also been a school governor.
