Volunteers are at the core of our organisation and without them, we would not be able to deliver the high-quality service we offer to the public.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Citizens Advice Exeter.   We will be opening up our volunteer recruitment in January 2024.  However, to give you an idea of what it means to be a volunteer at CitA Exeter,  we would be happy to talk to you/meet with you, beforehand, to explain our service and the roles available.

However, we think it is important to let you know we usually ask new volunteers to commit to at least 6 – 9 months volunteering after they have been trained.  The time that the training takes will depend on the role(s) you are interested in (and we have available), but on average our training programme is anything between 3 and 6 months.
