Big Energy Saving Network

This year we are taking part in the Big Energy Saving Network. A campaign which will help consumers save money on their energy bills by informing them about the different energy tariffs and check whether they are paying too much with their current supplier.

Citizens Advice (the national charity) has recently set up its own energy comparison tool (link to https://energycompare.citizensadvice.org.uk/) where consumers can go to find the best energy deal for them. Research has found that many consumers pay much more than they should for their energy bills because they stay with their supplier for a long time. You could save a lot of money by regularly switching your tariffs and/or suppliers, when your account is up for renewal.

We are going to be holding events around Exeter up until the end of March 2017. We want consumers to come and speak to us about their energy bills, so we can help them get all the benefits and discounts that they are entitled to, as well as ensuring that they are on the best deal for them. Keep a look out for these events, we will be promoting them on our Twitter account and inside the Citizens Advice Exeter building.
